The Illinois Municipal League’s 2010 Springfield Legislative Day is scheduled for Wednesday, April 14.

The Legislative Briefing will begin at 10 a.m. The Legislative Reception will be that evening at 6 p.m. All Legislative Day activities will be held at the IML office, 500 East Capitol Avenue. If you plan to attend, please rsvp to Rebecca Turner or call (217) 525-1220 and specify which activities you will attend so that adequate materials can be produced.

If you decide to stay a night or two in Springfield, there are some wonderful and very convenient hotels in the downtown area. Downtown hotels fill early when the Legislature is in session, so please take action soon. The IML does not have a block of rooms for this year’s meeting.
